*Caution: Armed robbery on the rise in Tema*

The Tema Metro director of the National Commission for Civic Education NCCE madam Gifty Agyeiwaa Badu together with other 6 customers robbed at gunpoint by two masked men at Tema community 10.

Shearing her ordeal on Plan B FM lifestyle, relationship, and family show, NYANSAPO FIE with Rev. Dr. Michael Asenso, she explained that, she went to a salon to retouch her hair but was raining heavily when she finished, so she decided to wait for the rain to stop because her house is not far from the place,

“Whilst waiting I decided to send some pictures to some people I attended a workshop with a day before from another region, immediately I started the process I saw someone trying to collect my iPhone 11 from behind so I softly shouted who is that? Then two men on a motorbike came in front of me and pointed a gun at me do you want to die? I immediately handed over the phone to them and took my handbag containing Ghs100 in addition after which they collected the phones of the additional 5 people who were at the salon at that moment, they bolted away with my iPhone 11 and a Ghs100 and a handbag of the shop owner containing Ghs 4000, jewelry and phones of other four customers” she added.

She then asked the general public to be vigilant and cautious when stepping outside because criminals are all over the place especially when a motorbike is approaching direction.

Madam Agyeiwaa Badu together with Mr Fidel Bortey Akufo and Tema West NCCE director also advised the general public to be very careful about their lives because HIV/AIDS prevalence is on the rise in the country, has asked the public to avoid unprotected sex, been faithful to their partners and also get their HIV status known for early treatment to avoid casualties.

The advice for HIV patients on treatment is to take the treatment seriously because it helps them to remain healthy.
