An incident that occurred in one of the biggest hospitals in Ghana, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) indicates that armed robbers robbed the patients and bolted away with their items worth over twenty thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢20,000).

According to the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) reporter, Kofi, armed robbers stormed the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital at dawn and barged into the children’s ward.

Some parents were with their children so when the robbers barged in, they attacked and took their mobile phones, money, and others.

The money the armed robbers took was over one thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢10,000).

After the armed robbers robbed the patients, they went ahead to take the hospital’s properties which are tablets, laptops, and others.

The armed robbers bolted away with all those items and currently, some parents are thinking of the money that they will use to purchase drugs for their children.

This incident occurred at Korle Bu in the Greater Accra Region.
