The Speaker of Parliament, Right Honorable Speaker, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has triggered massive reactions with his outfit at Parliament today as members reconvene to discuss e-levy and other business of the house. It will be recalled that the Speaker of Parliament promised Ghanaians at the part of this year, 2022, that he will stop wearing his Speaker’s cloak for regular Parliament proceedings but he will wear it during ceremonial occasions.
Today, Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin did not disappoint Ghanaians as he promised. He was clad with a Kente cloth and a gold jewelry with his crown.
Many Ghanaians reacted massively to his dressing. Some Ghanaian blasted Alban Bagbin because the believed t Alban Bagbin wanted to send a message to Ghana that he is the King of the country and he rules over the President himself.
