Dr. Arthur Kennedy, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed strong discontent with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, accusing him of losing the core values and principles that once defined his leadership.
According to Dr. Kennedy, the President has “sold his soul” for the pursuit of political power, and he is no longer the same Nana Addo the public once admired.
Dr. Kennedy, who has been a vocal critic within the NPP, lamented that President Akufo-Addo’s decisions and actions no longer align with the ideals that once made him a respected figure in Ghanaian politics.
He argues that the President has compromised on key ethical standards and personal integrity in exchange for maintaining his grip on power.
This criticism comes at a time when the President is under increasing scrutiny for his government’s handling of various issues, including economic challenges and corruption allegations.
Dr. Kennedy’s remarks highlight a growing divide within the NPP, with some members openly questioning the direction of the party under Akufo-Addo’s leadership.
