Akufo-Addo Is Over Disrespecting Taxpayers – The Christian Community Charges

Akufo-Addo Is Over Disrespecting Taxpayers – The Christian Community Charges

An Apostle of a church in the United Kingdom and Ghana has indicated that, the President is disrespecting Ghanaians by wasting taxpayers’ money.

Apostle Paul Kofi Agyekum of Victory Outreach Church, has verbally identified that, the president of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is disrespecting Ghanaians by wasting taxpayers’ money on a lot of things that need not be.

On a phone interview with an online TV, Apostle Agyekum indicated that, the president disrespectfully wastes taxpayers’ money on a convoy. He illustrated this with his own experience.

He indicated that, he was traveling by road in Ghana when he saw the presidential convoy. For some reason, the convoy was not moving as fast as it had to. This made it possible for the convoy to get close to him in his car. He indicated that, he observed to find out if the president was in the convoy. To his dismay, the president was not in the convoy. He later found out that, the president went to where ever he had to go, by air transport. So his query was, why then spend taxpayers’ money on the convoy?

To him, for the president to travel by air and still have his convoy on the road is very disrespectful to Ghanaian taxpayers. To him, it is a waste of the taxpayers’ money.

Apostle also indicated that, he does not know why the MP for Dome Kwabenya, Hon. Adowa Safo is still an appointed Minister. This means she is still getting paid for not performing her duties as a Minister.

The Apostle indicates that, he does not understand why the president is still keeping her in Office. To him, this is disrespectful since the taxpayers’ money is being used to pay her.

He also threw a challenge to Hon. Adowa Safo to step down if she genuinely respects the taxpayers of Ghana.
