Akufo-Addo is benefiting from galamsey if not he should have resigned – MFC’s Adusei-Poku alleges

A National Communication team member of Movement for Change, John Kofi Adusei-Poku has alleged that President Akufo-Addo should have resigned from the presidency if he’s not benefiting from galamsey.

Adusei-Poku further explained that, the galamsey menance has worsened under the leadership of Akufo-Addo who sometime ago put his presidency on the line to stop the canker.

In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ show on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Adusei-Poku stated that, some Ghanaians are hypocrites and cowards when it comes to the fight against galamsey.

“Fighting galamsey has been a tough one in Ghana but the president who put his presidency on the line has kept mute in respect of galamsey, then I can say that he is benefiting if not that he should have resigned because he put his presidency on the line in respect of galamsey” he indicated.
