A communication member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpone-katamanso Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Francis Kwasi Badu Mello has emphatically stated that, Akufo-Addo and Bawumia are the major problems of Ghana.

Mello expressed that, Ghana is now in a ‘GalamState’ under President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s government.

In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Communicator said that Ghana is in a situation where some of its leaders have formed a cartel to stifle development in the country.

Mello expressed disappointment in Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s government on how they have been silent in the fight against galamsey.

He alleged that, President Akufo-Addo, Bawumia and some top leadership of Ghana are hiding behind galamseyers to destroy the country’s forest reserves and water bodies.

“Akufo-Addo and Bawumia are the major problems in Ghana. The criminally minded politicians are in NPP most especially Akufo-Addo and Bawumia” he stated.

Mello further explained that democracy has now been limited to some small group of people, if not that people raising concerns about the difficulties and how galamsey is destroying the country they wouldn’t have been arrested.

“We need to stand up and fight for Ghana’s progress, we need to kick the NPP government out from power” he noted.
