The founder of Life Assembly Worship Centre and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Sofo Kyiri Abosom, has made a bold demand for the imprisonment of President Akufo-Addo and the board of trustees of the National Cathedral project.
Sofo Kyiri Abosom’s call comes after the stalled National Cathedral project, which was initiated by President Akufo-Addo in 2020, has caused significant financial losses to the state.

The project, estimated to cost around $300 million, has seen the demolition of the Passport Office and residences of judges to make way for the construction.

He specifically targeted the highly respected clergymen appointed by the President to supervise the project, stating that they should also be held accountable and imprisoned alongside Akufo-Addo.
