Akuapem Poloo To Appear Before Court Today

Following her current post on social media, Ghanaian vixen and social media influencer, Rosemond Brown, well known as Akuapem Poloo is allegedly being arraigned before the court today, 3 July 2020.

Akuapem Poloo for the past few days has been lambasted on social media after she posed naked with her 7-year-old son as she celebrates his 7th birthday.

Most Ghanaians on social media have descended on the actress for her actions while others are of the view that is is none of anybody’s business.

Well, her actions seem to have landed her in trouble as a source from the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) of the Ghana Police Service discloses that her action is a violation of Section 280 and 280, Sub-section 25 of the Criminal Act of 1960 which prohibits the willful and intentional indecent exposure of one’s nakedness or genitals in any public place or platform.

Akuapem Poloo is allegedly facing two charges of indecent assault to wit and obscenity and could be jailed for at least three years if found guilty.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection on Wednesday. 1 July 2020, “posting nude pictures on social media at all times is a serious offense and all must desist from the act” as well as sharing it is also a crime.
