A 38-Year-Old hunter, John Okyere has allegedly killed his wife, Ama Dankwah at Kodiekrom, a farming community near Ayomso in Asunafo North Municipal of Ahafo Region.
The incident happened around midnight on 5th May, 2024.
The suspect who is currently on the run, reportedly used locally manufactured gun to shoot his wife after a misunderstanding between the two.
The Assembly Member of Gyasikrom Electoral Area, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim who confirmed the incident said the matter has been reported to police at Ayomso for his arrest and investigations.
The body has so far been deposited at Goaso Government Hospital.
