Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has revealed that she will disclose her next course of action in the coming days following the unsuccessful Sing-A-thon attempt, as confirmed by Guinness World Records (GWR).

The acknowledgement of the failed singing marathon was publicly communicated through a post on the official Guinness World Records platform, in response to an individual seeking clarification on the outcome.

Aduonum had undertaken a remarkable endeavour to surpass the existing record for the longest continuous singing marathon, a challenge demanding significant endurance and vocal prowess.

In a Facebook post following the official confirmation, Aduonum expressed gratitude to all her supporters for their love and encouragement.

She emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive outlook on life, noting that success is most gratifying when it seems defeat is inevitable.

“The news of the outcome of my Sing-a-thon attempt came a few minutes as I was preparing to host a gala dinner and the launch of the Lebanese Scholarship Alumni Network attended by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I will announce my next line of action in a few days. Thank you all for your love and support.”

“When life hands you lemons, turn them into lemonade. Success is sweetest when snatched out of the jaws of defeat,” she affirmed.
