Ghana won 3-0 in their first match of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on Wednesday evening in Cape Coast.

Following a lacklustre first half, the Black Stars improved significantly in the second half, scoring three goals.

Kudus Mohammed was the first to score, smashing the ball into the net from close range to calm the nerves and give the Black Stars motivation to go for more.

Kudus scored in the 53rd minute, and Felix Afena-Gyan flicked the ball into the net three minutes later for Ghana’s second goal, his first for the country.

Osman Bukari scored his first Ghana goal in the 86th minute to seal the victory.
