Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer who plays for Hamburg has been called up by Chris Hughton to replace the injured Iñaki Williams in the Black Stars squad ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
Iñaki Williams pulled out of the national team stating he had been nursing an injury for an extended period and believed it was time to get treatment.
In his absence,Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton among the options has given the nod to Königsdörffer to represent Ghana yet again.
The 21-year-old has been impressive this season for Hamburger SV, scoring 10 goals in all competitions with an assist in 35 games.
Ghana will play Madagascar on June 18, 2023.
