Accra Lions left-back David Oduro has reportedly completed a move to Barcelona following a successful trial.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 18-year-old will join Barcelona’s athletic team after finalizing the details of the transfer.

“Barça are closing in on a deal for 2006-born left-back David Oduro from Accra Lions, to join the Academy.

“He’s the first player ever to sign for Barça directly from Ghana, an agreement in place.”

Oduro is on the verge of becoming the second Ghanaian to play for Barcelona after Kevin-Prince Boateng.

He will also become the first player to join the Spanish giants directly from the Ghana Premier League.
