Firefighters are battling a fierce fire that broke out at Adjiringano in Accra on Friday night, officials say.
It is not clear what started the fire but personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, GNFS, are currently at the scene.
“Four appliances from Legon, Headquarters, Madina and Adenta Fire Stations are currently battling to put the situation under control”, the GNFS said during an update on Facebook.
Although the fire is said to have been contained, the Service said there was “no casualty recorded.”
“Over 150 structures close to the scene of the fire salvaged due to the bravery of our men but unfortunately, over 200 Wooden structures burnt…”
