President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, is set to begin receiving GHS 12,000 monthly allowance after the proposal was overwhelmingly approved at the 26th GFA Ordinary Congress.

The Emoluments Committee of the Ghana Football Association, headed by Hearts of Oak CEO Frederick Moore, proposed among other things, a monthly remuneration of 12,000 Ghana Cedis for the GFA President and 7,000 Ghana Cedis for the Vice President.

Members of the GFA Executive Council are to receive 4,000 Ghana Cedis monthly, after congress approved the entire proposal.

The new arrangement will also see the GFA President receive GHS 1,600 as sitting allowance for Executive Council meetings with GHS 1,400 and GHS 1,300 going to the Vice President and Exco Council members respectively.
