The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has launched an investigation into an alleged extortion incident involving a Customs Officer at the Accra International Airport.

The investigation follows a video circulating on social media in which TikToker Lady Rev. Adwoa Pretty alleged that a Customs Officer collected GH¢600 from her without issuing a receipt.

In a public notice, the GRA said it has taken note of the allegations and has commenced investigations into the matter.

The Authority assured the public that it will provide an update on its findings once the investigation is completed.

The GRA reaffirmed its commitment to upholding integrity, accountability and professionalism in the discharge of its mandate.
