Hearts of Oak were forced to settle for a point on Sunday after Bechem United held the Phobians to a 0-0 draw at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The result brought an end to Hearts’ perfect start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign, following victories over Bibiani Gold Stars and Berekum Chelsea in their opening two matches.
The Phobians controlled much of the contest and created several openings, but Bechem United remained compact and disciplined at the back, denying the home side the breakthrough.
Despite failing to secure all three points, Hearts of Oak remain unbeaten after three games and continue to sit at the summit of the league table.
The Phobians will next travel to Tamale to face Karela United, while Bechem United return home to host Dreams FC.
