The Ghana High Commission in Ottawa, Canada, will provide consular services to Ghanaians residing in British Columbia on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
According to a public notice issued by the High Commission on August 13, officials will travel to Vancouver to capture biometric details of Ghanaians who have completed their online applications for Ghanaian national passports and mailed their completed application forms and supporting documents to the High Commission in Ottawa.
Applicants are required to complete the online passport application through the official portal and submit their completed forms and supporting documents to the High Commission by September 8, 2026.
The High Commission stressed that no paper applications will be accepted at the venue, and only applicants who have completed the online process and followed the stated procedures will be attended to.
The exercise will be held at the Church of Pentecost, 5814 176A Street, Surrey, British Columbia, V3S 4H5, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The initiative is expected to make passport-related services more accessible to Ghanaians living in British Columbia without requiring them to travel to Ottawa or Toronto.
