The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled three-hour power outage in parts of the Accra East Region on Friday, July 3, to facilitate emergency maintenance works aimed at improving service delivery.

According to the company, the maintenance exercise will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Areas expected to be affected include Tse Addo Zion, ICGC Church, the Police Station, Bush Road, Camp Two, Tse Addo DVLA, and surrounding communities.

ECG said the temporary interruption in power supply is necessary to enable engineers to carry out the maintenance works safely and efficiently.

The company apologised to customers for the inconvenience and appealed for their patience and cooperation during the exercise.
