The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says candidates who sat the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will receive their results by July 15.

According to WAEC’s Head of Public Relations, John Kapi, the marking of all examination scripts has been completed, with the Council now undertaking final quality assurance and verification processes before the results are released.

Speaking on Accra-based Adom FM, Mr. Kapi assured candidates, parents and schools that every effort is being made to meet the timeline, adding that the results will be published on or before July 15, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The release of the results will pave the way for the placement of successful candidates into senior high schools across the country.
