Wickedness begins in the heart” – Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Anning warns against hidden evil

Wickedness begins in the heart” – Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Anning warns against hidden evil
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Anning has described a wicked person as someone who deliberately harbours evil intentions, seeks to harm others, or derives satisfaction from causing pain, destruction, and confusion in people’s lives.

Speaking on Nyansapo Fie on Plan B FM, hosted by Akosua Gyamfua, Rev. Dr. Anning explained that wickedness begins in the heart through evil thoughts and intentions before eventually manifesting in one’s actions.

According to him, some individuals live double lives, portraying themselves as righteous and devoted in public while secretly engaging in ungodly and harmful behaviour behind closed doors.

He noted that a person may regularly attend church and appear holy before others, yet continue to practise evil in private. He therefore cautioned the public against judging people solely by their outward appearance, stressing that true character is revealed through one’s actions, conduct, and lifestyle.

Rev. Dr. Anning encouraged listeners to embrace sincerity, integrity, and godly living, emphasizing that genuine faith should be evident not only in public but also in private.
