I’m not behind anyone trying to unseat you—Dr. Ayew Afriyie to Ejisu MP

I’m not behind anyone trying to unseat you—Dr. Ayew Afriyie to Ejisu MP

Member of Parliament for Asokore, Dr Ayew Afriyie has debunked claims that he and his cronies are seeking to ensure the Member of Parliament for Ejisu loses his seat for supporting Kennedy Agyapong in the NPP presidential primaries.

According to him, the MP’s issue is borne out of mistrust between him and the Chairman, a situation he has stepped in to iron out and ensure an amicable solution is reached.

He is therefore shocked that the picture is being painted that he is sponsoring someone to contest and remove him from the seat.

Dr Ayew Afriyie’s statement on the matter read “DR. NANA AYEW AFRIYIE CLEARS THE AIR ON MISINFORMATION BY HON. KWABENA BOATENG,MP EJISU CONSTITUENCY.

Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye, MP Effiduase-Asokore Constituency & Middle Belt Coordinator For DMB 2024 writes:

I saw this video & I decided to message on WhatsApp to the Ejisu MP my younger brother Kwabena Boateng Esq:

Ejisu MP, why this appeal ? Kwabena, you know the issues out there are local mainly between the chairman and you. You know, I tried getting you and him to middle grounds well over four(4) hours at my house, but there was a deadlock hinging on mutual distrust .

Anything at-all, the Chairman was willing for the trade offs but you asked for more time. We have not gotten back to map a way forward as a result of your complaint of a host on wontumi attacking you. You told me this when I called you last week.

This your appeal and painting a picture as if Dr. Bawumia and team is after you is no way good. Bro, let’s be honest to ourselves NO ONE is after you. It’s simply huge distrust between the chairman and you.

If you had accepted my road map, bro you will have been better off. So long us you need me, I will be there for you but this approach to communication does no good to anyone Kwabena.

Otherwise, you create the impression Dr. Ayew is after you while am quietly rather looking up for you. I am not worried about what people think and write for all that is not true. Atleast between you and I , you know I have put my best foot forward same way as am doing for Stika at Nhyaeso”.
