ECG staff dies after falling from electric pole in Peki

A staff member of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), popularly known as “Efo Dela,” has sadly lost his life after falling from an electric pole while repairing a fault at Peki in the Volta Region.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday during maintenance works. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

His death has thrown the community into mourning, with many residents remembering him as a dedicated and hardworking officer who was always quick to respond to electrical faults and power challenges in the area.
