Rev. Benjamin Boateng has identified parents, teachers, and the wider community as the three main groups responsible for shaping the lives of children.
Speaking on the Nyansapo Fie show on Plan B 104.5 FM, Rev. Boateng explained that a child’s training does not happen in one place alone. According to him, a child leaves home to school and later spends time playing within the community, making all three environments important in a child’s development.
He stressed that teachers, in particular, must develop the spirit of resilience, noting that without it, teaching becomes difficult and less effective for both educators and students. He added that resilience helps teachers handle challenges in the classroom and positively influence learners.
Rev. Boateng also observed that many Christians lack resilience, which he said is the reason they react quickly when offended. He noted that the absence of resilience in the church often leads to division and misunderstanding.
He emphasized that when the spirit of resilience is present in the church, it promotes unity, development, happiness, and peace among members.
Concluding his message, Rev. Boateng reminded listeners that the God Christians serve is resilient, and therefore, anyone who claims to follow Him must also demonstrate that same spirit of resilience in their daily lives.
