A Communication Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tema West Constituency, Christian Tetteh, has stated categorically that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not learn from its mistakes.
Speaking on Plan B FM’s EBANOSEN, hosted by Ohene Kinnah, he said he was happy that, for once, a key member of the NPP had openly expressed concern about the party’s challenges.
His comments come on the back of remarks by the government’s official spokesperson and Member of Parliament for Offinso Ayirebi, who admitted that “our biggest challenge is winning back the trust of Ghanaians”—a statement that has sparked nationwide discussion.
According to Christian Tetteh, the NPP government failed to listen to the concerns of Ghanaians and instead pursued policies that suited its own interests simply because it held power.
He cited issues such as the collapse of the banking sector, which led to job losses, unstable power supply, and rising petroleum prices as key factors that negatively affected Ghanaians.
He argued that these challenges ultimately influenced Ghanaians to vote the NPP out of power.
