GES dismisses recruitment letter circulating on social media as fake

GES Begins Public Sensitization On School Selection Into SHS Today
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has denied reports of an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing a letter circulating on social media as fake and not originating from the Service.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Unit on January 23, 2026, GES management said it has taken notice of a letter allegedly announcing the commencement of recruitment into the Service.

According to the statement, recruitment into the Ghana Education Service has not yet begun, stressing that the document in circulation is false and should be disregarded by the public.

GES further assured the public that when recruitment officially begins, an announcement will be made exclusively through its official platforms.

The Service has therefore cautioned job seekers and the general public to treat as false any recruitment information that does not emanate from its recognized communication channels.
