Ghana’s Ninth Parliament will reconvene for its Second Session on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 12 noon, following a formal proclamation by the Speaker of Parliament.
In a commencement instrument issued under Article 112(1) of the Constitution, the Speaker designated Parliament House in Accra as the venue for the resumption of legislative business. The proclamation marks the official restart of parliamentary proceedings after the recess.
The notice, signed and dated January 19, 2026, confirms the constitutional authority for the sitting and sets the stage for debates, committee work, and policy discussions expected to shape the next phase of the Fourth Republic’s legislative calendar.
