The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with a viral video showing a two-year-old child being served alcohol at Kade in the Eastern Region.

A statement released by the police on December 20, 2025, indicated that the suspects were arrested in December 2025 by officers of the Cyber Vetting team as a result of a sustained intelligence-led operation.

“The suspects, Tawiah Precious, alias T’ Moni, aged 18, Emmanuel Dadzie alias Shapiro, aged 24, and Stephen Amoako, aged 22, who is the father of the child, were arrested on Saturday, 20th December 2025, by officers of the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team at Okumani, a suburb of Kade, following sustained intelligence-led operations,” the statement indicated.

The statement added that the victim has since been rescued and handed over to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVSU) at Asamankese for protection, while they wait for reunification with the mother.
