Apostle Jeff, Overseer of Kingdom Priority Embassy at Spintex, has shed more light on the petition recently submitted to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, calling for swift action on the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill. Speaking on the Ebaanosen show live on Plan B 104.5 FM, he said many clergy members have used their pulpits to openly oppose the bill, reflecting the values of their congregations.
Commenting on the controversy involving a counselor at the University of Ghana, Legon, Apostle Jeff reiterated that LGBTQ+ practices contradict biblical principles and, in his view, will not bring positive outcomes to the nation. He explained that although the bill expired under the previous government, the current Parliament has reintroduced it prompting religious leaders to appeal for quicker progress. According to him, “the prosperity of the country depends on this bill,” and their push is aimed at ensuring its effectiveness.
