Richard Anning, an NPP communicator for Tema Central, has criticized the current government for mismanaging the high school placement system, describing the situation as unprecedented in the last eight years.
According to him, the NPP had been running a system that was “almost perfect,” ensuring fair and transparent placement for students. However, he alleged that the current administration has reset the system, resulting in misplaced postings — including able-bodied students being sent to special needs schools.
Mr. Anning also accused some Members of Parliament (MPs) and Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs) of manipulating the process to favor their relatives. “What has happened this year in the school system has never happened in the last eight years. And today, you say you suspend three heads of institutions? It’s funny,” he stated on Nkosuo Nsem.
