Former Sanitation Minister Cecilia Dapaah invited to CID over ORAL investigations

The former Minister for Sanitation in the erstwhile Akufo-Addo administration, Cecilia Dapaah, has reportedly been invited for questioning by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.

According to a social media post by GHOne Television, the former Minister of State was asked to appear before the CID to assist in ongoing investigations into allegations of corruption.

The investigation, according to the media report, is part of the President John Mahama-led administration’s Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) campaign, which aims to investigate and prosecute appointees of the previous government suspected of engaging in acts of corruption while in office.
