Nationwide special voting exercise begins today

Confidence Etse Adzrakor, a member of the National Democratic Congress’s communications team for the Tema West constituency, has reiterated the party’s determination to contest the Akwatia by-election and any other forthcoming polls.

In an interview with Ohene Kinnah on Plan B FM’s Ɛbaa No Sɛn show, Adzrakor stated that the NDC would abide by the Constitution and participate in every by-election, irrespective of the anticipated outcome. He stressed that the party’s impressive governance record underpinned their decision to contest every poll.

Adzrakor also criticised the NPP’s decision to boycott the Tamale Central by-election, attributing it to their expectation of defeat and desire for public sympathy. “It’s as simple as that,” he concluded.

Notably, Adzrakor expressed confidence that the NDC would win the Akwatia seat, despite it traditionally being an NPP seat saying, “Although Akwatia was for the NPP, per our good deeds, the seat will be ours.”
