A group of brazen armed robbers has attacked Hills Oil Filling station at Akyem Old Tafo in Eastern Region, absconding with GHS10,350 cash, mobile phones and CCTV Server. The incident occurred Monday around 7:00pm.
The manager of the fuel filling station, Seth Koranteng, said the armed robbers wielding firearms, stormed the premises and ordered the workers at gunpoint to surrender all their belongings including their sales.
He said the robbers made away with a total of GH¢10,350 in cash, several mobile phones belonging to staff, and the filling station’s CCTV server; which is believed to contain surveillance footage of the identity of the suspects.

The incident has been reported to the local police which investigations have commenced.
Filling stations in Akyem Tafo and its nearby community, Akyem Osiem, continue to intermittently suffer armed robbery attacks.
