Patriotic Party (NPP) visited the family of the late Ernest Yaw Kumi, MP for Akwatia, on Tuesday, July 8, to express their deepest condolences following his unexpected passing.

Led by the Clerk of Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, the group included both Majority and Minority Leaders along with other key members and party veterans. They offered sympathies, signed a condolence book, and stood in solidarity with the grieving family.

The atmosphere at the Kumi residence was heavy with sorrow and remembrance as family, friends, and supporters reflected on the life of a committed and compassionate leader whose promising political journey was cut short.

Mourners, dressed in traditional black and red mourning attire, embraced, shared cherished memories, and held onto photos and keepsakes symbolizing Mr. Kumi’s lasting impact on his community and beyond.

A condolence book remains open at the family home, inviting the public to honor the legacy and service of Ernest Kumi.
