A Police officer, Felix Atistogbui, stationed at Suhum Municipal Police Command in the Eastern Region has died while at the gym exercising.
The well built officer left home around 5:00pm Wednesday July 2 to the gym but suddenly became dizzy and fell on the ground.
He was rushed to the hospital but pronounced dead after few minutes.
His father,narrated to the local media that “Yesterday around 5:00PM he told me he was going to the Gym. But at about 5:30pm he called me that he was feeling dizzy and had fell down so should come and take him to the house. So I rushed to the place and sent him to the hospital but after 20 minutes the Doctor told me he has passed away”.
Felix was a popular police officer in Suhum due to his good human relationship with the residents.
His body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
