E/R: Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly’s driver dies, others injured in fatal accident

One Feared Dead, Driver In Critical Condition In Gomoa Dabenyin Accident

A 49-year-old driver with the Kwaebibirem Municipal Assembly in Eastern Region, Alex Dwamena, have died after ghastly road accident while four (4) passengers sustained serious injuries.

The accident occurred Tuesday February 25, 2025 between Akyem Takyiman and Pramkese road.

However, the driver was pronounced dead Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the St Dominic’s Hospital- Akwatia.

The five(5) were returning from Takyiman to Kade after official duties when the Nissan Pick Up with registration number GC 838-18 by which they were traveling veered off the road.

The driver was reportedly speeding.

The cause of the accident is however under investigation.
