A decomposed body of a young man, believed to be in his early 30s, has been discovered in an unfinished building at Kasoa-Opeikuma Pentecost Down in the Awutu Senya East Municipality, Central Region.

The grim find occurred on Wednesday afternoon, January 29, 2025, after neighbors noticed a foul odor in the area.

A subsequent search led to the discovery of the body, which appears to have been there for over a week.

The Opeikuma-Krispocity Electoral Area’s Unit Committee Chairman, Hon. Sule, immediately notified the Kasoa Divisional Command of the Ghana Police Service.

The body has been transferred to the police morgue for an autopsy as authorities continue their investigation.
