Heated dispute between brothers leads to devastating fire, displacing dozens and causing massive property losses

According to eyewitnesses, the blaze was allegedly ignited following a heated altercation between two brothers.

The younger brother, identified as 25-year-old Papa, reportedly wielded a knife during the argument, forcing his elder sibling to flee.

In a fit of anger, Papa is accused of setting the house ablaze, destroying valuable property and leaving several residents homeless.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire before it consumed the entire building, but the damage is extensive, with losses estimated in thousands of cedis. Fortunately, no lives were lost.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, while the alleged perpetrator, Papa, remains on the run. Displaced tenants are struggling to recover from the disaster.
