Men in military uniform seize assembly vehicles at Gomoa Budumburam

[Video]: Soldiers storm Ashaiman; allegedly brutalise residents over captain’s ‘murder’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A group of men in military uniform have seized seven assembly pickups from a mechanic shop at Gomoa Budumburam in the Central Region.

The vehicles, including towing cars, belong to the Gomoa East and Awutu Senya West Assemblies.

It remains unclear on whose instructions the group was acting.

However, reports indicate that the men claimed to be workers from the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team.

The group, led by one Major Mahama, reportedly ordered the vehicles to be towed away.

In response, a team of police officers from the Central East Regional Police Command and Gomoa Budumburam swiftly intervened to investigate the circumstances surrounding the operation.
