Don’t just wait, plant! – Lady counsellor’s advice

Don’t just wait, plant! – Lady counsellor’s advice
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Lady Elizabeth Kesewaa Nortey, a renowned counsellor and CEO of Kess Millinery and Beads, has issued a rallying cry to individuals—particularly young people—to take initiative while awaiting opportunities.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s social and lifestyle programme Nyansapɔ Fie, Lady Kess, as she is affectionately known, underscored the importance of sowing seeds for future success. She identified three pivotal phases: sowing, waiting, and reaping.

Lady Kess observed that individuals often feel lost during the waiting period. “If you haven’t planted anything, you’re essentially squandering your moment,” she cautioned.

She advised people to remain focused, even in everyday conversations. Additionally, she warned against intentionally distracting others who are being productive, citing the phrase, “Woe to those who cause others to stumble!”

Instead, Lady Kess encouraged self-reflection and engagement in meaningful activities. “Apprentices, too, should learn from this and be proactive in their studies,” she added.

Her inspiring message urges individuals to take responsibility for their time and actions, planting seeds for a brighter future.

“Concentration is Crucial” – Rev. Banson’s Advice

In a related development, Rev. Michael Yaw Banson, Resident Pastor of The Rehoboth Holyfire Revival Ministries International, stressed the importance of preparation and focus in daily life. He specifically advised pregnant women to prepare thoroughly for childbirth and childcare.

“Concentration is crucial in every aspect of life,” he emphasised. “Distractions, lack of sleep, and poor sleep quality can hinder concentration, leading to errors in machine-operated jobs.”

Rev. Banson drew parallels with the aviation industry, which prioritises sleep regulation. “Workers should be encouraged to utilise their annual leave and engage in recreational activities to boost productivity and creativity.”

He also shared a practical tip: “When searching for something, take breaks to recharge. You’ll often remember where you placed it.”
