One dead in a fire at Essipon in Sekondi.

A fire at Essipon in Sekondi claimed one life as the second floor of a two-story structure was completely consumed in flames. Firefighters from the Sekondi Metro Fire Station arrived swiftly and initiated an aggressive firefighting approach to control the blaze.When the firefighters arrived, the building’s second storey was already on fire.

They quickly began offensive firefighting measures, and the fire was successfully contained to the second story within 18 minutes. The fire was completely extinguished shortly thereafter.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is now investigating the cause of the fire and reviewing the occurrence.
