The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has delivered a strong message to the President-elect, urging him to prioritize investigations into alleged scandals involving the outgoing government. According to Ike Lord, a member of the NDC Communications Team, failure to address these issues will lead to widespread disappointment among party members and supporters.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem on Plan B FM with Kofi Sakyi, Ike Lord emphasized that the incoming administration has a duty to hold officials of the outgoing government accountable. He expressed the party’s expectation for a thorough probe into suspected acts of corruption and mismanagement.

“The President-elect must ensure that the scandals surrounding this government are thoroughly investigated. If not, we in the NDC will be deeply disappointed,” Ike Lord stated.

He further cautioned appointees in the next administration to perform their duties diligently, ensuring that their policies and decisions serve the interests of all citizens.

“Any official appointed as a minister must work to ensure the well-being of every Ghanaian. If not, we will not hesitate to hold them accountable,” he warned.
