Scott Bolshevik, noted for his regular comments on Ghana-related problems on social media platform X, particularly on the Ghanaian economy, posted on his X page, “I can confidently assure Ghanaians that for every $1 Akuffo Addo invests in the country, they take three times more. Finally, they sprinkle various programs like Agenda 111 and interchange, and due to illiteracy, people praise them.”
Scott Bolshevik also highlighted that Ghana is regressing while other African countries are progressing.
Meanwhile, the Akufo-Addo Bawumia administration has been embroiled in various controversies over the last eight years, ranging from electoral violence to public finances misappropriation.
The killing of eight people during the 2020 elections, ambulance spare parts, Sky train, COVID-19 management and expenditures, Agyapa Royalties deal, PDS scandal, African games expenditure, illegal sole-sourced contracts, expired rice saga, and the National Cathedral scandal are just a few of the major scandals under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia administration.
The most recent examples include the NSS affair and the $20 million e-Gate project, which has turned into a $240 million cash cow.
