The four-time African champions have faced a tough qualifying campaign and risk missing out on the tournament for the first time in 20 years.
Ghana’s qualifiers began with a 1-0 loss at the Baba Yara Stadium, followed by a 1-1 draw against Niger.
In a crucial doubleheader against Sudan, the Black Stars were first held to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium and then defeated 2-0 in the return fixture.
These results have left Ghana in 4th place in Group F with two points.
Niger’s recent 4-0 victory over Sudan in Lome has given the Black Stars a last chance to qualify.
To advance, Ghana must secure wins against both Angola and Niger while relying on a Sudan loss to Angola.
Ahead of the Angola match, Addo told the Ghana Football Association website that the players are mentally prepared and ready to go all out for their first victory, which he believes is essential to keeping their qualification hopes alive.
“Mentally, the boys are ready,” said the former Borussia Dortmund talent coach.
“I’m looking forward to the game. It’s time for our first win in this competition, a vital opportunity to stay in the race.”
Kick-off for the much-anticipated match is set for 19:00 GMT.
