Norest Nyakudanga (66) a local evangelist collapsed and died while delivering a sermon at Chisipiti United Methodist Church in Harare, Tuesday.
Just five minutes into his sermon, which focused on the story of Elisha, Nyakudanga collapsed and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
His death was confirmed in a Facebook post by the Seke South Circuit.
“We are Shocked and Sad to notify you of the sudden departure from Earth of Evangelist Norest Nyakudanga. It happened this evening (Tuesday) as he was Ministering in Chisipiti,” the post reads.
Nyakudanga is survived by his wife Taurai and three daughters.
He will be laid to rest on Sunday at his rural home in Mutoko.
