2024 Elections: NDC’s Samuel Aborbi calls on EC to ensure Justice and fairness

A communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Samuel Aborbi popularly called ‘Aban’ has said that, there must be justice in the 2024 general elections.

In a panel discussion on Plan B Fm’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show on Thursday, 29 August 2024, Mr. Aborbi made it clear that, the EC Chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensa and her team must do everything possible to make the general elections justifiable.

“There should be justice in the upcoming general elections. Mrs. Jean Mensa together with her team must be very careful in conducting this year’s elections. The peace of Ghana is at heart of the NDC. We still want to hold on to our peace” he indicated.

He stressed that any lapses or complacency on the part of the EC could lead to chaos and disputes on the election day.

Aborbi’s comments come amid growing concerns about the integrity of the electoral process.

With the country gearing up for crucial election, the communicator’s warning serves as a timely reminder of the need for the EC to be on its toes.
