C/R: Speeding taxi cab kills two NDC okada riders at Senya Beraku

Two Okada riders believed to be supporters of the NDC from Awutu Beraku have met their untimely death Sunday dawn when returning from Senya Beraku Akomase festival after crashing their motorcycle with a taxi cab.

A known NDC okada rider and his in-law decided to Join the Awutu Senya West Constituency MP, Hon Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, to celebrate the Senya Beraku Akomase Festival after a successful Manifesto launch at the University of Education Winneba Campus on Sunday.

The MP according to information had been invited to a program that was being held at night of Saturday but the deceased persons upon their return around 2am was crushed with a speeding taxi cab which was also heading towards the Senya Beraku community from Gomoa Akoti Junction.

Nananom and people of the Senya Beraku Community in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region are celebrating their annual “Akomase” festival which has drawn many people across the length and breath of the country to their community resulting in a number of program of activities tabled on ground to enable them have a fruitful celebration.

Meanwhile, the driver of the taxi cab has since been arrested by the Senya Beraku District Police Command whiles the body of the deceased persons have also been deposited at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for preservation, pending police investigation.
