One Feared Dead, Driver In Critical Condition In Gomoa Dabenyin Accident

One person has been reported dead with 62 others in critical condition after an accident involving the Monack football club at the Kwawu mountains on the Atibie road in the Eastern region.

The Nkawkaw Municipal Fire Commander, DO II Samuel Mante confirmed the incident in an interview with Adom News.

DOII Asante narrated that, Monack FC went for a tournament at Obo and was returning home when the incident happened around 4:am on Saturday.

He added investigations are underway to unravel the cause of the accident.

 

Meanwhile, some passerby drivers who helped rescue the victims applauded the Fire Service personnel for their swift response.

The appealed to the government to fix light the Nkawkaw-Mpraeso road to help reduce road accidents during night.
