Cuts International, a consumer advocacy group, has urged the government to avoid burdening Ghanaians with both the road tolls and the E-levy simultaneously.
The government during its mid-year budget presentation, announced plans to reintroduce road and bridge tolls in 2025.
Mr. Appiah Kusi Adomako, the West African Director of Cuts International speaking to you the Media raised his concerns that, Government must avoid burdening Ghanaians with both road tolls and E-levy.
Responding to this on Plan B Fm’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Thursday,25 July 2024, a National Communications team member of Movement For Change, Mr. John Kofi Adusei-Poku said that Ghanaians can’t feel the impact of their resources due to bad leadership upon paying numerous taxes.
“Ghanaians will fell the positive impacts of their resources and all taxes paid under the able leadership of Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen as President of Ghana. Every eligible voter should vote for him in the general elections coming December” he noted.
